Case Study: Paddock Johnson Partnership
Paddock Johnson Partnership (PJP) is an architectural practice that provides specialist services on urban developments and regeneration projects in the North West. PJP were unhappy with the software that they were using and approached Cubetek to produce an Architect / Construction Project Management system which we now know as CubeITect.
Gareth Reece, Infrastructure and IT Services Manager for Paddock Johnson Partnership explains how CubeITect Project Management met their needs :-
"As Architects we had a document software package in place that we had used for some time. However, it didn't meet our needs for easily creating and logging documents/emails etc. We also had a need to integrate our project plan documentation with our existing software as we found we were duplicating information in the software and documents."
"I came across Cubetek through a contact within a Law firm and saw the potential of CubeCM being able to integrate with our office requirements. After a meeting with Dominic Corr it was clear that the software could be tailored and developed for use in an Architectural/Construction environment. With close liaison with Dominic and his colleagues we have managed to create a software tailored for use in an Architectural and Construction environment, including the creation and registering/issue or drawings."
"After some tuition I found it easy to customise the screens to our requirements, including creating screens to record information on projects including the status of planning applications and the ability to create reminders. It has exceeded our expectations for the handling of emails/documents and we look forward to working closely with Cubetek in the future and enhancing the software further."

Catherine Higgins herself qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and has been invited to speak at a number of conferences led by lawyers, doctors and charities. She started Catherine Higgins Law Firm in April 2008 from a small office and was fortunate to have a landmark trial in the High Court in Manchester, the first decided case of its kind in the country. Catherine Higgins of Catherine Higgins Law explains how Cubetek revolutionised their practice:-
"Cubetek has literally transformed our case management despite our being cautious and somewhat nervous about having a tailored system installed.
However, we have been delighted with the whole process as well as the Cube system istelf. Our needs are very specific and do not fit many of the off the shelf case management systems on offer. Cube CM gives us the flexibility to mould and manipulate the Cube system to fit our needs and changing requirements.
Dom and the team are very friendly and accessible and have made a real effort to understand what was required by us. They are also very patient with out 'non-techie' ways! The system is very cost effective especially when compared with less flexible off the shelf systems available.
We would not hesitate to recommend Cubetek to any business"
